Peter, Bjorn & John - Writers Block

Post by Nl5H »

This cd is good...yeah i mean Young Folks is catchy, and i never haerd the song until i was listening to Kanye West rap over it, and i was hoping that was on his next cd, but i found out it was from another band, who had mad rotation on Greys Anatomy...

Anyhow, they are a pretty poppy band, and more than half the songs on the album are pretty good... i highly recommend it...

If you guys know stuff that is along the same lines as there music, let me know.

this has been a record i've really enjoyed going back to ocassionally.
they are a very good live band as well.

"The Chills" and "Call the whole thing off" are fantastic cuts.

honestly, they are from Sweden and right now you can't go wrong with much swedish pop music.

Shout Out Louds are about to release a new record, which was produced by Bjorn and it has some of that signature percussion of Writer's Block.
Its a pretty good record as well.

Jens Lekman
The Concretes

are two other good artists/bands from sweden
