Look, everyone knows about "Billie Jean" or "Bad" or some others of Mike's great ones. But personally, I'm gonna get this thread poppin' with the cut "She Drives Me Wild" off of the Dangerous album. It's the shit.

everyone knows 'round midnight' but yo! 'brilliant corners' is hot! sonny on tenor just ripping it up. that whole though just has that edgy swing, ya know?

'my favorite things' is one of tranes songs that is overlooked when people mention his work. 15 minutes of ecstacy, urgency, pain, joy, introspection, confrontation the whole damn range....fucking epic

harry connick jrs 'let me love tonight' is however the most underrated song on this post. 10 minutes of the slow burn of love that would make don giovanni fuck himself. an arrangement that would kill my mother. the whole album 'to see you' is underrated though, really.

I was too young to remember, but how was "Dangerous" recieved when it came out. I remember it being a huge deal, but i was too young to pay attention to the critics.

All I know is that when I listen to "Dangerous" now, part of me thinks it's his best album.
