"I know that, but I think people love me just as much as they love Michael," Pippen said. "The fans who understand the game, the GMs and coaches. I think they'd rather have a Scottie than a Michael."
There was an awkward, shocked pause after Pippen answeredגPippen over Jordan?גand someone finally asked why.
"Because I'm an all-around player," Pippen added. "Coaches would rather have a Scottie-type player than a Michael. I was an all-around player. I made people around me better."
this guys bitter. Pippen seems to have a beef with MJ lately. Last year he claimed that Kobe was a better player than him or something.
Pippen was a solid player, on some days arguably a better man defender than MJ, but he's out of his mind here. This is almost worse than the time a Wizards-era Bryan Russel claiming he was the franchise player of the Jazz, and their drop in attendance was because of him leaving.
"I love california. the other day some bum was like "gimme a dollar, I SAID GIMME A DOLLA!!!!!" and I told him to sit down and shut the fuck up. and he did. cause real talk I will knock a bum the fuck out." --BeHemoth
Of course you want Michael. He is the GOAT. Unfuckingstopable on the court. Scottie was the better "team" player. The better teammate. The better player coach. I understand that aspect and I think that is where he is coming from on this.
