Van der Wiel to Bayern Munich. 17M + 3M for every Munich Champions League win + 1M for every time they are league champions.

Fuck me, can't buy the new Ajax jersey with his name on the back anymore.

Doubt it,, they have the second best right back in the world and a garbage left back.

I'm aware Lahm can switch to the left but it'd be ridiculous.

have u guys discussed the arsenal signing of Koscieny (sp?)
is he gonna be another vermaelen?

LOL @ the rumors of ozil to arsenal...just what that team needs....might be able to pick up some slack if cesc goes, but he doesnt strike me as terribly different/better than rosicky/nasri/wilshere/vela/arshavin etc...

req, how do u feel about the devils trying to sign sneijder?

as for liverpool...looks like hodgson wants bryan ruiz...i know he tore shit up in the dutch league...thoughts on if he'll cut it in the prem? i'd love to see him up top with torres (if he stays)...

kjaer signing with wolfsburg is surprising but a great signing for them. dunno how anyone is gonna fuck with bayern next season tho

It's a wrap: Spain to win, Germany to finish third, according to the octopus.

Koscielny is another low-profile signing for the defense. Hes highly rated in France and Lorient fans say he was their best player last season. He played in Ligue 2 the year before that and was crowned player of the year in Ligue 2. This year in Ligue 1 he had the most interceptions for a player debuting in L1 ever and he helped a very mediocre team gain 7th place. Hes quite built and definetly looks to be in the Verm-mould.

Ozil only has one year left on his contract so Bremen can't really play hardball or they'll lose him for free like Bordeaux lost Chamakh. I doubt Arsenal wouldn't face fierce competition for his signature this summer. Vela and Wilshere are still unproven and Rozza is way past it and needs to be offloaded or demoted to a squad player so I think we have room for him if he can play as a wing-striker.

Benayon to Chelsea was a suprise. Good signing and minimal fuzz surrounding it.

Re: Cesc. Barca had to make another loan so they could pay their players who hadn't yet been paid for last month. I don't see how they could afford Cesc and their handling of the situation has been disgraceful, Pique has been particularily obnoxious with his recent comments and I really hate his guts. Barca have no respect for anything and I believe they are far worse than Madrid who catch a lot of heat for their transfer policies. Barca just sold Chygrinsiskiygski back and lost about ג‚¬10m, fucking idiots, they're a joke of a club - off the pitch that is. I can't believe they're placed on a pedestal as a 'model club.' Arsenal is a proper club, no foreign ownership and no operating with a deficit, and no unsettling tactics used against other clubs. Other clubs should take notice and learn how to conduct themselves in a sustainable and respectable way.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

He did but he's not been wrong in 2010. This is the first prediction that didn't involve the German team though.

Rooting for Holland but I fear their defense is too weak. Head says 2-0 Spain.

Just for the record: we do agree that Schweinsteiger has been unreal this tournament, right?

Liked this game. However, it's all about tomorrow.
I expect 150.000 extra people to come to Amsterdam tomorrow, getting together at the Museumplein. I'm there as well.

Support the Dutch. '10 is ours!

Fantastic third place game today. That Forlan volley for their second goal was :ohsh:. Would have loved that last free kick to go in. lol @ Suarez getting booed every time he touched the ball. I expect the Germans to be in the thick of it next time. They've got so many good young players in Ozil, Mueller, Kiesling etc.

How could the Germans not get Klose in the game though? Wack.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Ozil and Forlan for repping for me hard in the fantasy league. Had them from the beginning and they were huge.

I think Spain wins tomorrow, but I'd be very happy for the Dutch if they win. Just looking for a good game.

Ozil is the truth. One day, he might be as good as Xavi is right now.

I do not understand the point with third place games at all. Still a good game, and I agree, ze Germans will be very strong the coming years.

He suffered some minor injury against Spain. Probably could/should have played about 20 minutes no matter what though.
