You just taking Jones straight up, or are you also doing any prop bets on the main event?Beastly Swagger wrote:Jones,Nunes,Masvidal,Rockhold,Sanchez,Allen,Markos
Upset picks logic :
Masvidal's crafty knees as Askren shoots for the TD will render BA hesitant to shoot leaving him to be pieced up w/ sodas, shakes & fries.
Sanchez will be his usual frantic in the chest aggressor resulting in the blood & guts show that will win the judges via split decision. Plus finally getting away from Jackson Wink will provide new life. Diego's normal manic energy will be amplified due to the HOF induction.
Markos is tenacious as fuck & will take control as CG wilts/gasses.

My Masvidal outright, method & round all hit hard as fuck. I had a side bet w/ business associate on the actual knee like I predicted lol.
Seems my Cuban trip earlier this year resonated harder than expected lol.

So it came out today that Thiago tore his ACL, MCL, PCL, and fucking Meniscus. How he was able to keep fighting, let alone keep throwing kicks with that leg and more impressively keep using that as his base to throw kicks with the opposite leg is fucking insane.

Yup shit is insane, but the question does need to be asked...is Jones on the decline? All things considered, it's pretty alarming that he wasn't able to finish off Santos.the dead poet wrote:Guru. Re: The Official MMA Thread
Jones was flat I think he needs to adjust to the stabler lifestyle he's currently on, no drugs whether it be PEDS,coke whatever. His body chemistry is different therefore he must adjust. He also likes to fight people w/ their strength which this time was Muay Thai. He didn't ponder using his excellent wrestling. JJ's a games man for sure.GUCCI CONDOMS wrote:Yup shit is insane, but the question does need to be asked...is Jones on the decline? Exactly, if they rematched, I’d expect Jon to take santos down easily (you take down DC you can take down anyone) and finish it before the 3rd

Agreed. The only thing that gives me pause is Thurman's apparent decrease in punching power and overall lack of activity since his elbow surgery. Other than that, I think Thurman has the advantage in every area, besides experience of course.Beastly Swagger wrote:Thurman should bang MP out before 8.

Re: The Official MMA Thread
edwards has not earned a title shot and in my opinion has not even earned a masvidal payday at this stage. not enough excitement or finishing ability. his winning streak is impressive but his strength of schedule is weak and full of smaller, former/current 155-ers. he first needs to get through a larger, bigger-named, proven 170-er like wonderboy, woodley, ponz or lawler. i feel the lawler matchup would be appropriate whether he wins or loses vs covington.
