Carlton Cole scored 2 for Spurs last night in a friendly. That's your striker sorted then.Positive A wrote:This Etienne Capoue signing has me excited. Basically means THudd and Parker are gone. And Livermore is facing a loan or a sale.
Still need a LB, another striker and CB depth.

He has been training at Spurs but wasnt involved in the game. We beat Enfield 11-0, Soldado 3, Sigurdson 3, Kane 2, Townsend 2 & one from Lennon so no Carlton Cole thank fuck tho i cant imagine him doing any worse than Ade last season if he did.

Sloppy game, but there were flashes I guess. I like Chadli and Townsend was reeeeeeeeeally nice in his limited minutes.
Probably Hudd's last game in a Spurs shirt :(

A great first half hour, didnt even feel like a friendly at that point then just filtered out. Bit worried about Lloris's performances pre-season, hopefully he's just getting them out the way early. Amazing to see Sandro & Kaboul back.

Please not Carlton Cole.
Also, please, please don't sell Gareth Bale. Sounding like Real doesn't have the cash.
Really bummed about losing Dempsey. I felt like this season was the one he would have taken off with the team after having a year to get acclimated.
I like the addition of Soldado, and if Paulinho plays like he should Spurs should have a solid team.
Really depends what happens with Bale though.
Arsenal and Chelsea still trying to wrangle Rooney?

just chelski. Gunners looked good against city; looks like rambo is getting his verve back as well. the link on his finish was so very clean

I'm pretty sure Bale is gonzo. And it will be a great bit of business for the club.jamrage wrote:Please not Carlton Cole.

I didn't want to see Deuce leave either, but Spurs got a good haul for him as well, so it's all good.
Soldado, Paulinho and Chadli are all really great additions. And if Capoue ever gets announced, I'll be all

Is Rodgers the dumbest manager in the BPL? He makes Mark Hughes and Tony Pulis seem graceful. He talks so much rubbish to the media and its going to come back to haunt him I bet. Liverpool is a complete circus these days.
Whether to Jason of Philaflava or John Podesta, I will speak my fucking perspective openly

Re: Official European Football 2012 Regular Season Thread
As much as it pains me to say, Spurs have done phenomenal business this window. Four quality signings including a legit goal scorer, I underestimated their ambition. Cashing in on Dempsey was a nice bonus too. If only they can somehow get rid of Ade...
Their past two seasons have been stellar. Lloris, Vertongen, Holtby, and now this year's crop. Color me impressed.
I wonder if the spending is related to a decision that they're going to sell Bale in which case they'll pocket the 85-100m they get towards stadium expenses or say this spending was done with money they knew they were going to get from the sale. Either way, they'd be smart to cash in.
The only thing to worry about is the time it will take for everyone to get familiar, especially with some guys returning from injury as well. See this is why Arsenal will finish above them, right guys?? Arsenal have the advantage because they don't have to integrate any new fucking players.

Just seeing that Ryad Boudebouz is linked to Villa. Would be such a great acquisition to that team.

West Ham becoming the Liverpool rehabilitation centre? Joe Cole, Andy Carroll and now Downing!
Liverpool fans are very quick to slate them off, but I think they're great acquisitions for us.

Super excited that Dempsey joined the Sounders. I got tickets to the next home game which will be dempsey's first home appearance and I'm taking my nephew to it. I'm super excited about it.

I assure you this is not the norm, usually they have to be carefully where they schedule the games so that the crowd doesn't support the away team.
Sounders and Timbers games are both dope. I would encourage you to pay the little bit extra and sit in the supporters section.

Dudez,
Should we bother with a Premier League Fantasy League?
I was guilty of never updating my squad after christmas and got super lazy. But I'll give it another shot if anyone else is feelin' it this year.
