Sure, but he wasn't a power forward in those days. On the Pistons he was an SF.Gregg Popabitch wrote:I don't think he brought the same thing to the Bulls. I feel like Pippen and Jordan were better defenders at that point. But when he was on the Pistons and his first year or two on the spurs, he was amazing defensively. This is a man that consistently guarded Magic Johnson when the Pistons played the Lakers.

In name only, imo. If anything, he was a combo forward that played a PF's role and could guard anyone.
If you want to take it literally, then can we call Lebron a PF this year.
Positions are fucking gay anyways. But people love to label things.

If we throw positions out the window, this entire thread becomes a little more difficult to make sense of. Rodman was a combo forward, for sure, but didn't play down low as much when Salley or Mahorn were on the floor. He saw a lot more PF minutes in the second title year, but even that year he was still spending a lot of time at the smaller position.Gregg Popabitch wrote:In name only, imo. Went Malone. Tho' it's barely, and i mean barely, over Barkley. The answer probably really is Barkley.
