thanks for the input, man.
seeing the commercial for the first time last night just made me think about...players who weren't lauded or up to par their first year or two in the league, only to end up becoming huge superstars pulling crazy numbers (i mean, if you look at it, this year reddick and morrison for example have been putting up numbers even though they haven't been used too much...my point lies in where the gradual successes are as opppose to the immediate ones). and gil basically turned his entire game around stats wise after leaving golden state.
my roommate said jordon's first year in the league wasn't too great. so perhaps the query is bunk.

he seems lazy as fuck sometimes but its a good pick up, bulls couldve used his size
he's supposed to start practicing with them but they have a few big men so i don't know how theyll fit him in. i'd play him over soft batch frye though

there'll defenitely be an odd man out when you consider 4 players for 2 spots for the next two years.
curry, frye, lee, morris.

No way. The Bulls need a big guy in the paint but Tyrus Thomas will end up being the better player in the long run. What he brings into the game is amazing. It reminds me of what Ben Gordon did in the UC back during his rookie year.ripweblo wrote:thats a nice picture, im happy with thomas, but im starting to think we shouldnt have traded aldridgeJ Suburban wrote:
The Bulls need to be repped on this board..
saturday vs cavs would be a huge win
I'm guessing John Paxson will use the MLE to nab a solid 4 or 5 (Chris Mihm, anyone?) to complete the roster and let them bloom from there.
Or, the Knicks can fuckin' implode already and grab us Greg Oden.

hope so....he's definitely shown potential on both ends, energy level is off the charts..hes shown a nice mid range touch a couple times, skiles needs to get him the ball more in the post the few times he's got it he's got off a quality shotJ Suburban wrote:No way. While detroit could lose the top seed to cleveland, I don't see them being upset by any potential first-round matchup. Both teams will most likely face NJ/Orlando/Indiana depending on how the 7 and 8 spots shake out. Billups and webber are having some trouble integrating with eachother, but their defense should carry them to the semis against the raptors/bulls. Lebron has been coasting, but will turn it up in the playoffs (31/12/6 last night), plus the refs will look away when he takes four steps with the ball for the winning drive.blessingindisguise wrote:Why do I think Detroit gone get upset the first round....or the Suns by Warriors.?
wiz seem harmless after losing butler, raps should win their first playoff series in a while if miami stays atop the southeast.
as for the suns/warriors thing, seems like an unlikely first round matchup. GS has a tough schedule left, and they would have to gain the 7th spot to face phoenix (currntly in 9th). The suns would have to take the top seed to face the 8th, where the warriors seem most likely to end up. The likely Dallas/GS first round matchup would be exciting as well since the warriors are 2-0 against the mavs this year.
west playoffs will be great, but whoever makes it to the finals may be bruised and battered and face a east team who had less intense series against NJ/Orlando/Indiana, then toronto before duking it out in the ecf with a championship calbre team.
sorry, that turned into a playoffs thoughts rant

cleveland is 3.5 games behind the pistons with 7 games to play... i think the pistons are pretty safe at number one. and a whole lot safer than cleveland is at number two with the bulls on their heels.
so the pistons will more than likely play the magic, or possibly the nets, knicks, or pacers. i can't see any of those teams winning more than one or two.
