Both fell off a bit, but there was no denying when they were in the zone they were one of the best to do it.

both are really overrated. but i gotta go with kass, even though he's never made a great album, imo.

If i'm honest, I never really listened to Ras Kass. I have 'Soul on Ice' and have never been able to sit through the whole thing. Never saw what the fuss was about.
The Chef is pure ennertainment though.

RE: the fuss:
I walk the planet and create tremors
If nuttin' else here's all you need to remember
LLA'Y LLA KCUF for all you backwards niggas
Psychologically, we grapple an MC
Like Gracie at the UFC
So place me in your octagon coward
On mix tapes and interviews, I be hearing you
Certain dissidents dis from a distance
Disrespect and discriminate
Bitch I laminate that ass
And wear it at the New Music Seminar for a badge
Mash or get twisted
Dem gwan front like Rosa Parks
But them marks is broke wristed (bitch)
You got superiority complex based on old statisitics
Now listen
Respect due to the pioneers
But what you burrough did in 83' is ancient history brah'
So why these niggas actin' like
Since they live in the state
Where rap originates
They automatically all time greats?

Rae is on my favorite album of all time, and I'm heavily anticipating the sequel. He's still making good songs based on what I've heard the last couple of years

No doubt, but Ras Kass' verse on that joint he did with GZA on that Wu Tang: Think Differentely comp. was almost unfuckwitable.

Raekwon is underrated as fuck in terms of Wu members. Dude is the main force behind so many classic joints its ridic.
CL is easily better than Soul on Ice and gimme his contibutions to the Wu albums and Ironman over any of Ras Kass' other highlights.

people actually voting for Ras is laughable.
sure he's got some of the illest punchlines ever
and makes intellicon look tame
but Rae's got the slang on lock and has that knack to say something remarkable, but make it seem common place.
this might seem like its not an admirable attribute, but think its a testament to RZA production and that he has the ability to lay in the cut, but if you were to really listen you'd
plus ras is a midget

ras kass. my bias toward wu has nearly no end too.. but ras kass really could have been a undisputed top 10 mc potential wise, in terms of actual carrer its a lot closer.. still had to go with rassy kassy though..
fools they claim the fly rhymes, but i terrorize airlines, my minds a porcelian glock seven slippin through the metal detector, ready to wet you like baptism, its rap pugilism when i displace your 208 bones in one zone with microphones

A couple of years ago I heard someone call Raekwon the wackest rapper with a dope album and I can't say I disagree.
Ras Kass.

Rass Kass is a better Lyricist than Raekwon but I'd rather listen to Cuban Linx than anything Rass kass has ever done.

Rae... purely on the strength of having one of the best albums of all time.

man, sometimes cats surprise me here..
you guys voting ras kass because he's gotta some better punches than raekwon..wtf, rae is on some next level shit. Like mentioned earlier Ras has never taken part in tracks are legendary as those that rae was a driving force behind. (was just listening to CREAM as i type this).
By the logic some of you are using, Inspectah Deck should be the best the top member of the clan.

By the logic some of you are using, MF Doom should be better than Andre 3000.

Ras Kass without even really thinking. Way more

material in totality if you ask me. They've both put out wack LPs, but after it's all said and done I'll go back and listen to Rasassassination and unreleased albums more than I do to anything Rae has put out post Cuban Linx & prime Wu era.
OK... yeah, now the

dickriding is gettin' a lil' out of control
RZA vs. BDK next?

How about Ras Kass vs. MF Doom? That'd be interesting, dunno which way the board would swing (no homo)
