We'll something a different. Even though last poll was a blow-out Pharoahe still manged to pull a lot of votes.
Clearly their styles are different. Ones more technical than the other, but overall who's better?

I'd have even voted Pharoahe in the Nas poll if I'd been online when it was open.
To me, discounting amount of material put out, if we're talking about who possesses the most pure talent, Pharoahe will win every time. Within my time, I think he's simply the most talented rapper to pick up a microphone.
Nonetheless, Ghost will run away with this one.

I think I'm going with Monch this time. Ghost is pretty much gonna win any poll on

though.

Monch is quite possibly the one of the best tallents rap has ever seen but he has only put it on display so few times. He's really a wasted tallent considering how long it's been since we've seen that tallent on display as well.
There have also been so many rappers than have been better, more complex, and more tallented than Monch and their legacies are more durable than his. That list includes Eminem at his peak, Percee P, Big L, KRS One, Nas, and others. Shit, I'll take Jay Z in the Reasonable Doubt era before I take Monch, and that's just off of 22 2s alone.

every time, for the same reasons as GZA.
You know, before Masta Killah's verse came in on Mystery of the Chessboxin, I thought Ghost had just delievered one of the most memorable verses in hip hop. I rewound it BEFORE I ever got to MK's verse, then I was blown away again when I listened to the whole song in full.
"Speakin of the devil psych, no it's the God, get the shit right
Mega trife, and yo I killed you in a past life
On the mic while you was kickin that fast shit
You reneged tried again, and got blasted
Half mastered ass style mad ruff task
When I struck I had on Timbs and a black mask
Remember that shit? I know you don't remember jack
That night yo I wuz hittin like a spiked bat
and then you thought I was bugged out, and crazy
strapped for nonsense, after me became lazy
Yo, nobody budge while I shot slugs
Never shot thugs, I'm runnin with thugs that flood mugs
So grab your eight plus one, start flippin and trippin
Niggaz is jettin I'm lickin off son" (OHHLA)
Does anyone really think Monch has anything as good as Ironman or Supreme Clientle under his belt either? I doubt it's possible.

"Daytona 500" + "Child's Play" >> any O.K/Monche track.

Monch is corny these days. Sure, his flow is still bonkers, but he is showing his age with lazy/cliche lines like "I stay in the cut like Neosporin". Really Sir? Really?
Ghost is still somewhat exciting and inventive. In his prime, I would take Pharoahe, but overall and especially currently, Ghost shits on him.

and, again, no brainer. Ghostface vs. Nas would be a better poll IMO.
I had no idea Pharoahe had so many extreme nut huggers on this site. He's a great emcee, and for those of you who are voting based on raw technical skill, you have an argument (although I don't see why anybody would ever vote based on pure skill, when that has NOTHING to do with the quality of the music said artist has produced), but unless you're limiting your scope of qualifications THAT much, I can't understand where you cats are coming from.

Exactly.
Darko Milic has all the skills in the world, but it doesn't translate when it counts in gametime situations.
Same applies to Monch really.

The only people voting for Monch are ex-Anticon nutriders doing penance for ignoring talented Black rappers for a decade but who get all jittery and teary-eyed when Ghostface talks about guns or women.

Now this one I can't do. They are the only two people I really listen to.

I've always liked Monch (pause) but I've never liked Monch that much. My appreciation of Stress hinges on the moody beats and general vibe rather than dude's vocal acrobatics.
