Your family was a the focus of a feature episode of the television program "Trick My Trailer." Bobby Brown fucked your aunt and your uncle disowned the child. J.C. Chasez busts metaphorical nuts in your moutainridgeforheadscar and lets it drip on to your face. Chris Hansen broke your kneecaps twice.

Yeah. He was on his label and then suddenly quit or was dropped. MC Wet Toothpick squandered the single chance he'll ever get at being put on (nh) for any reason.

Kind-of-more-than horrible talent scouting on account of Mac Lethal too.

i'll take the responsibility, no problem.

i already did.
basically, because he's a punk.
i was never a fan, but i supported what mac was tryin to do because he believed in him. and all grieves did was bite the hand that feeds.
grieves just wants to be famous. he doesnt care about making good music (obviously) or having a good time with friends like most of the other artists i love and respect (rap and non-rap). he'd stomp on anybody to get recognized. it's pathetic.
not to mention he was a total dick when i met him at a preparty.
not just to me, but everyone. as soon as his "fans" would walk away, he'd talk shit. i dont think it'd cool to make fun of people who are buying your shitty album, especially when you're grieves. a nobody in the grand scheme.
he's just one of those people who immediately rubbed me the wrong way. musically, personality-wise (what little i saw), everything.
that about covers it.

i won't address your personal issues with how he mistreated you, because i wasn't there for that. and well, cause most of the artists that you enjoy have been guilty of mistreating fans at one point or another. people suck. even artists. even fans.
but play along with me, this will be fun for you and me, and no one else here at this board.
we'll start here:

where did you get the info that brought you to these conclusions?

yeah im pretty sure no one cares about this but me (and im not sure why i do) and you, because of your label.
but ok.
first thing. i know.
im not young enough or naive enough to think that artists owe me somethin just cuz i buy their records. but its not even about me! i mean, wouldnt you think if you're trying to make a name for yourself, you'd try a little harder not to be such an asshole? maybe im wrong, but i kinda feel like you have to earn the right to be a dick. the example i used was.. jack nicholson can be a dick and get away with it because he's jack. some no-name reality star acting like mr hollywood is just gonna come off like a douchebag. and that's how i felt about grieves.
and how did i come to those conclusions?
things that mac has said about the situation (im not going to put words in his mouth, but i can find quotes again if necessary), watching grieves' interactions with other people, and the fact that he cant even man up and talk to mac about his exit. i dont know exactly what happened, but if he really cared about his friends and wasnt just trying to be opportunistic, why the avoidance?

can you answer this for me?
did grieves pursue RSE or was it the other way around?
alllllso,
it's my understanding that mac left RSE himself to do his own thing and help people like ungrateful, backstabbing grieves pop off.
and what does grieves do? signs to rse.
that's a bitch move. im sorry. it is.

heh. well i guess it must be true then, right?
malpractice wrote:watching grieves' interactions with other people
yeah? smells funny mal. i'll assume you watched a bunch of his interactions, and i won't question that notion, but can you tell me what you witnessed with your actual peepers that equates to any of the shit you spewed a few posts up about his intentions?
you know his intention?
seriously, hook me up with the info.
i mean, i just signed him and shit, and if i'm in some sort of danger here, i would think you would knowledge me some, rather than merely waving the black clover flag.
malpractice wrote:and the fact that he cant even man up and talk to mac about his exit.
i've seen how mac paints it. no need to regurgitate his feelings for me.
i want your info.
malpractice wrote:i dont know exactly what happened
hey now...we were getting somewhere. you can't just go busting out some honesty in the middle of this. no fair.
malpractice wrote:but if he really cared about his friends and wasnt just trying to be opportunistic, why the avoidance?
noted. and i've seen mac say that as well.
which at first i found to be odd.
like, "grieves is a snake! why won't he call me back?!?"
why would you wanna hear from someone who shit on you?
hmmm.
but then naturally, my standard ignorance kicked in,
and i realized, "yeah, actually, i would prefer to stay in touch with snakes."
like that old bumper sticker - keep your enemies closer.
right?
granted, this is all speculation,
since you nor me really know what went down, right?
