All three i thought were dope...that go track, I dont know if your aiming for it to have a rapper on it or not, but if you are maybe tone down the drums a lil, otherwise leave them cause they are pretty dope.
Its good to hear you still making stuff. shit like this makes me think a day working for the government of bermuda goes a lil something like this...
just too funky of a person you are tayo

i'm alone is really smooth. bass is dope. damn this is good.
hopefully the drums on go will change after more work. wether its meant for rapping or not its still too much. everything else about it is good though.

Some people will just always have it, and no matter what they're using, you'll be able to hear their mark on any beat they make, and Tayo, you will almost definitely forever be that dude. From the way you layer your beats to the very emotion of them, it's like there's no question when you put your stamp on something who's responsible for it. You need to just put shit out more consistently. Your experimental work is no joke either, and I would easily rotate the shit out of an album of yours that included instrumentals and some of your more meandering singer-songwriter work. It's always easy to spot your influences, and it makes it even easier to appreciate the shit out of your work.
Obviously, these tracks are no exception, man. One of the few people on this board that merits an immediate download before I even preview your work. Keep it up, man.

thanks, fam.
rosario - ha. y'know, you're not that far off target. being part of the government can sometimes get even more irrational than the bureaucrat boogaloo y'posted, but rarely anywhere near as fun.
nygh - hope all's well, fam. thanks for listening, and definitely start recording again. was checking out vultures(?, your ep from a few years ago)around the new year, it's aged well. get it all going again, homie.
tony/axel - thanks for listening. and yep, been using adobe audition in it's various forms as my main tool for years now. only upgraded to 3.0 this year, really. ha. am entirely too lazy to learn a new sampler/sequencer, frankly. have added a bunch of instruments to the room, though. microkorg, xylophone, melodica, couple guitars, uke, etc. trying to make sounds that make sense from the ground up w/out leaving the collage aesthetic behind. appreciate the appreciation, fam.
cap - hope you're well, homie. thanks for the props, it means a lot coming from a set of ears like yours. i've been writing a heap of acoustic-ish junk - just counted. 63 songs. eep - they all sound kinda will fitzsimmon-ish, sans the beard and fingerpicking. am getting better, and they come really, really quickly. nowhere near good enough at the singing thing to ever really feel too comfortable with it, though.
been doing some intentional digging over the past 6 months, with one more trip happening this weekend. i'll be sitting on enough raw material to bang together one really, really, really good sample-centric project. whether it actually happens is a whole other conversation.
thanks for the support, appreciated.
