crazy or not dude's music was incredible and he is a legend.

when i was a little kid i had his dolls, a "thriller" night gown i wore until it turned into t shirt length, a radio i used to bump on the way home from the bus stop while playin billy jean... even an autograph (that in retrospect my parents prolly forged) that i took to school to show off in the 3rd grade.

fuckin sad.

Damn the difference between the attitude in this thread and the one in P&B is amazing.

Was beginning to think all PF were kids too young to realize this shit is kinda crazy.

This sounds stupid as all hell, but this really does feel like a semi-cosmic event to me. Incredibly surreal.

this.

it seems like most people's reaction is the perfect blend of mourning and the opposite of mourning.

both threads encapsulate my feelings perfectly

R.I.P. to one of the greatest musicians ever. In spite of his obvious vices the man was a living legend whose musical influence was unsurpassed and will continue to be.

And Let the man rest for a minute before fucking crucifying him.
