Edo G. Warns Joe Budden /Saigon Signs (with Budden response)

- This past Thursdayג€™s Joe Budden show in Boston almost ended with Joe Budden getting stomped by an angry mob of Boston goons. Edo. G, the show promoter, had to intervene to protect Budden from getting killed. JaySaun (of Special Teamz) is reportedly already hitting the lab to record a diss track to Budden - and everyone agrees - BUDDEN IS BANNED IN BOSTON! Edo. G Demands An Apology!

The CEO of Amalgam Digital, DJ Next is on the air to talk about how he has signed Saigon, and will be dropping 2 Saigon related projects in the next few months! How is this possible, considering Saigon dissed Amalgam and has a huge beef going on right now with Joe Budden??!?! - The Amalgam CEO answers all questions.

to question Magneto is to question your own sexuality.
that dude KNOWS his rap shizz

I didn't want to believe it cause I don't know :naswtf: is up with Saigiddy doing the damn thang with Just Blaaaaze and Roc Nation, but I thought it was a credible statement when Mag said it

and Joe Budden needs to be less of an asshole. (Old?) Copywrite status is right. (Copy seems to be changing it up...)

the whole 'I'm a jerk with dope rap skills' image isn't so cool when you're a jerk to your fans.

Joell Ortiz even says "I hate you, nigga!" in the video where they are all together discussing rap classics.

 @ the madness

No Budden in Boston? Saigon signing to the label that he infamously dissed the fuck out of on one of the best crew tracks in years?

rap is... :ironmike:

What happened in Boston was

Budden was scheduled to headline, the act one before him and his entourage was on stage when it was time for Budden to perform. The fans were chanting for Budden. Budden asked can everyone clear the stage so he could perform. Someone in the dude's entourage shouted out "Fuck Budden". Budden said if you want to fight come to the front of the stage and say it. To make this shorter, the stage finally cleared, and Budden performed.

As far as him being banned from Boston, please. He's coming back in a few weeks.

Yeah I don't think somebody like Edo G can prevent somebody like Budden to come to Boston. This ain't like the E-40/Biggie situation.

Also Next was the one who I asked about the Saigon shit. I don't think it's a permanent spot, just something to get the shit going again.

I was told the audio tape is doctored up.

This is know, Statik put out his last two album on Brick which is a Boston indie label. There are 2 options for that Saigon/Statik album and thats either Brick or AD.

Budden is fuckin up! first he got scortched by Saigon and now Jaysaun is about to light him up. Jaysaun is dope, don't sleep and he's the type of dude who will cold slap Budden when he sees him

Next told me like a month ago that he was going to sign Saigon and finally drop a project of his which is dope because he needs to release something other than a mixtape. Next is cool peoples IMO . I remember coppin his mixtapes when they were still on cassette. Im glad to see he's doing his thing on some Indie CEO status.

oh and Edo G's career > Budden

Edo might not be on the same level as a lyricist but dude is a legend in Boston.

yeah but Benzino isn't really a legend in the Bean for being a great rapper, I mean yes he was one of the first along with Edo G. to emerge from Boston but I think he's more infamous for other things aside from his rap career and let's not forget he used to be a co-owner of The Source.

Edo dropped some classics in the early 90's and Budden hasn't dropped one so to me Edo's career > Budden.

Budden isn't a legend anywhere, though, I think is the point.

This is a really silly discussion, but in any event Ed OG has "I Got To Have It" to his credit. Budden will never make anything as classic as that, ever.

so for all the tough talk and dis records after the (non)event, Budden left without a mark on him? If they were that bothered why didnt they confront him there and then?
by the sounds of it he only asked for the stage to be cleared so he didnt have someone elses weed carriers getting in his way.
just another case of rappers looking to get some shine off unnecessary dis records.

Also Statement from Saigon:

ג€œokay okay okay.... Im sure by now you all heard rumors about me signing to Amalgam Digital and now youre gonna hear whats real from the horses mouth.... Did I sign a traditional recording deal with Amalgam Digital as an artist? The answer is NO.. At this stage of my life/career, I'm waaaay to smart and business saavy to enter a typical record deal with ANYONE. What I AM doing with Amalgam Digital is entering a unique, never been done before business venture where they help market promote and distribute some of my many projects.

First of all, Amalgam Digital is NOT a record company but a New Media outlet.. With the sales of CD's rapidly declining, their NEW business motto was perfect for what Ive been trying to do and makes perfect sense with us moving into this totally digital era... They seen my creative vision, believe in my vision and we entered into a non-exclusive partnership that will bring it all to life....I am nobody's artist. I am a businessman doing some very lucrative, serious business with a VERY credible New Media company who like myself is trying to stay ahead of the curve...So, there you have it so STOP sending me messages..PLEASE.

Now that thats clear, please look out for the first project through this venture called 'All in A Days Work' which will be released March 17th DIGITAL ONLY..... Its one of the best Hip Hop album's in a while and was recorded in a 24hr period. It was also produced solely by Statik Selektah who came through correct. That will be followed shortly by the sequel to my classic disc 'Warning Shots' with' Warning Shots 2'... From this point on, I will be releasing music in a very timely fashion without having to deal with the politricks of a clueless traditional record label.. The future is here ladies and gentlemen.... Get with it.......March 17th... 'All In a Days Work'.....

MARCH 17th..... HIP HOP has been saved.ג€
