Black Thought can be a bit boring sometimes, even when he's spitting hot fire lyricism. JASON GLOSS, YOU KNOW ITS TRUE. THIS IS NOT YOTMB HATE

Anyway, J-Live's debut is far from boring. It isn't any more boring than say Main Atrakionz or however you spell that ethereal sleep machine fag shit.

Serious pot and kettle type action right here

also agree with the sentiment that J-Live's first album isnt boring and imo it held up well
i understand why people wouldnt like Black Thought. but giving the reason of limited subject matter is clinging to retardation given the subject matter dude has covered over the years in roots songs
This thread is pretty on point. Featuring both rappers i like and some I can't stand. To the guy who mentioned Kendrick Lamar, I disagree. Have you heard all of Section.80 through? At first I would've agreed, but I keep bumpin it atm.
Other boring ass rappers:
Skyzoo (still good tho)
Jadakiss
Rick Ross

i thought Kendrick Lamar was boring at first but thats because i was just skimming thru alot of songs and not really letting them develop or paying attention to what he was saying...after i started to really hear him it was a wrap. definitely my favorite rapper of the most recent generation.
add Jay Electronica to my list as well..he bores the hell out of me..also always sounds like he's rapping in Nas's exact cadence, but it doesnt stand out nearly as much..i cant deny his level of lyricism though.
