Listening to a Statik album, is like listening to a Jay Z album. You know he can make good shit if he wants to, but seemingly 99% of the time, he's doing something else.

This is a solid album, listened to in a Friends car the other night, beats are dope, possibly the best thing S.S. has done.

I heard the new Statik and Freddie Foxxx album today. It was a nightmare. How can you fuck up a Freddie Foxxx album?

I don't know but that last Foxxx album with KRS One was average as hell.

Yeah, Foxxx needs top shelf beats to be worth listening to at all, imo. And he needs to dead that indian howling battle call at the beginning of all his songs, shits annoying yo.

I certainly hope he doesn't lurk around rap forums though. :megaman:

haha...I don't think Bumpy is wack, I just think that album with KRS One had weak production.

I say between Pete Rock, Kev Brown, and Alchemist, Foxxx could put out a classic joint. His albums aren't bad, IMO. Its just everytime he rolls with like Pete Rock, he really hits the pockets of the beats right.

highlight of the album for me and from what I have heard of his beats, Statiks's illest beat yet, love the humming sample and hard drums and AB destroys the mic.

Right now, I played the video, my lady had her back turned, workin on her laptop. After the song, she asks "Is that new Ghost?". He should realize it and flip his style in a new way.

Yeah, because otherwise he is going to have a hard time gaining fans and media attention...

Video was pretty sick actually. Also, this album was a lot better than I though it was going to be. It gets better every time I've listened to it. Action and Lauren go back and fourth on tracks real well together.

Even though ML came first, I'm glad Action's getting all this press because it means more eyes are going to be on Meyham and he fucking deserves it.

meyhem Lauren is just Not that good IMO. I mean, he's alright but listening to a whole CD by him would be impossible for me.

Listening to a whole CD by anyone these days is kinda impossible. How can you go 6 tracks deep into the Action album and not want to put on Supreme Clientele?

While I get the GFK comparisons, Action has enough of a unique personality to distinguish himself once you get past the surface similarities. Mayhem and Bronson need to do a full length ASAP (no Rocky).
