Already Home is amazing not only for the sounds but because it details so well why he's untouchable. The God MC image really became true over the years. Since the Black album he's been about defining his legacy and I don't even know how he could possiby top that one.
really? I thought he was shitting all over it to be honest seeing as Kingdom Come and BP3 are fucking awful and American Gangster was one of the most boring records Ive had the misfortune to sit through.
Black Album gained him a whole new audience and thats who he's aiming his stuff at now. The ones who liked the Linkin Park collaborations but wouldnt have a fucking clue about 'Snoopy Track' or 'Show You...'

Yeah, well if you look at him getting older, the scarcity between albums, "only making records that inspire him" (comeback album, AG soundtrack, closing out the Blueprint trilogy), and in the meantime making all these moves to further his position in history it's pretty clear in my opinion. Anyhow it's an interesting premise to make every new song/ feature/ realease more of an event, and he adresses it often so it's definitely on his mind.
Just off the top: Never Let Me Down, Diamonds remix, Go Crazy remix, Dear Summer, History, You're Welcome (ft. Mary J Blige), and Already Home all deal with his legacy more or less.

that subject matter got boring as fuck along time ago. he pretty much addressed all of it on Encore and shouldve left it at that.
He's got absoloutely nothing interesting to say about anything.
Kingdom Come was about as disappointing as possible.
American Gangster was a hastily thrown together CD with the sole puprpose of cross promoting with the movie.
Blueprint didnt start out intended as a trilogy. Its not a concept album like Cuban Linx or something. He just used the name of one his most popualr albums to gain attention for his new project.
