mike got better over time. my chrome is a personal fav but his best tracks have always been shit like bad day worse day/that's life/pressure/burn where he's got something to say.

from what i've read, el-p said his parents were the artsy hipster type, so he's probably more of jewish lineage than anything else.
I also read a bizarre ( as if there were any other kind with C-Rayz) article/interview one time and C-Rayz was talking about the Jews running Def jux, and he specifically called El a Jew and Amaechi ( No John) an African Jew.
