I already had the PSD album that had that song on it though, so I never cared too much that the song was also on that compilation. The RBL song is an original, and Hitman murders it.BayAreaHustla408 wrote:Cleanhobo wrote:Yeah, it's a decent album but that PSD song is a fuckin' classic.Allan Smithee wrote:^ very nice.....

Settle down, guy. I never said Contact was a better song, just that it was an original to the compilation. Premeditated was featured on PSD's first album, 'Game Costs' (later reissued as 'Bread Head') and even included a remix to it.BayAreaHustla408 wrote:Premeditated > Contact.........sorry but rbl dont rule the streets
The reason Contact is so good is because it can't be purchased on any other album. And for some reason you and Smithee think RBL is my favorite group. I don't even own all of their albums. In fact, I think I only own two of them.
You're definitely right about RBL not ruling the streets, though. It's difficult to "rule" anything when two out of three group members are currently deceased.

You're not understanding the point: 'Contact' was an original song made specifically for '3 Beam Circus.' 'Premeditated' was not, and it had been around for quite some time before appearing on '3 Beam Circus,' therefore it didn't mean nearly as much to me as 'Contact' did at the time. It was, "damn, this RBL song is fuckin' tight" compared to, "damn, I've already heard this PSD song a billion times."BayAreaHustla408 wrote:whoa mayne.......it was an opinion....calm down.......i also own the PSD album that the song is on and i STILL love this song.........you can find the RBL song "contact" on Bootlegs and Bay Shit..........also in my posessionCleanhobo wrote:Settle down, guy. Premeditation is tight, and Contact is tight as well. Contact was (and still is) a better and more welcomed addition to the '3 Beam Circus' compilation because it was an original at the time.
As your man McBane would say: "End of story, son."
Let's end this before we piss everyone off and ruin a great thread; deal?
