36 Chambers vs. Wu-Tang Forever

Post by Philaflava »

For once and for all let's settle the score. I realize we're comparing a certified classic debut to unappreciated follow-up double album. Many will argue one is better than the other one.

Vote on the album you think is better. Also don't be the one smartass who says "The W." If so I wish for you to die in your sleep tonight. You newjack bitch.

There's one song, "Triumph," that competes with anything on 36 chambers.

honestly... even if you took the best songs and widdled it down to a single disc album... wouldn't touch the raw production and raw talent expressed on 36 Chambers.

36...with ease.

This album changed the way I feel about hip hop.

And as solid of an album Forever is, I was soul crushingly disapointed that they couldn't top 36.

the only way i could see someone voting for forever is if they didn't hear 36 chambers when it was originally released.

36 Chambers. Forever isn't that nice to me. They should've just made it a single LP.

36 chambers is way more raw and gritty... one of my favourite albums ever.

is there any question?

even the newjacks who didn't catch on til "triumph" til MTV shoulda at least gone back and realized that enter the wu was their greatest work.

i mean shit, wu-tang forever wasn't even the best lp of the summer when it dropped.

the war report held down that status.

A condensed version of Forever could make a run for its money, but as it is there is too much shit.

36 chambers is more consistant & more raw, which is what most wu fans like. Personally, even though there are things I prefer about forever, it's never gonna replace 36 chambers. 36 chambers has some incredible verses when they were hungry, a few mediocre verses, but overall it's not being fucked with.
i'd like those who select Wu-Forever to post their age too.
get over the age thing buddy.... im only 18 & HOLY SHIT i like 36 chambers better. No i didn't buy it when it first came out, I got it later & made my decision based on the actual music.
1. Nas
2. Drake
