At first I was a little thrown off.....but that beat is pretty sick.

It has a nice funky bounce to it.

can you imagine aesop listening to this and choosing it?
i had to stop listening to it after a minute, i guess its okay for what its supposed to be, sounds like a beat to a crossover mtv special about how carson daly invented the remix and the girls love to dance to it....

the original limelighters beat was sinister, very well done, this is a disgrace, if this is the direction def jux is going in then i doubt i'll be buying any of their stuff anytime soon

I respect your opinion and all,but to say that you wouldnt buy anything from them,that is pretty silly man,i mean come on,it is/was a Fan Remix contest,it isnt like it was anyone from that lable doing a new song,and like i said b4 im interested to hear what others sounded like,and if i had anything to say about it,i would want them to do/have a 1st 2nd and 3rd placing,but thats about as far as i would go as to say something that only Sounded as tho i would be complaining(which im Not),but to go as far as to say you wouldnt buy anything else,WOW thats kinda silly to say judging from a FanRemix contest,Its not like the First prize was a Contract or anything

i just have a feelin there was something better than this, maybe its not as much of a statement as i think, still though, that beat is........not good imo

i thought the beat was pretty cool....not amazing but not bad as all. that said i have a feeling jux was probably flooded with lots of wack submissions from wannabe producers...so this could very well have been the cream of the crop.
