Sorry, posted the flyer while at work and didn't check it again. Ka didn't go on until really late. Show ended at like 2am. Work will suck today.

That being said, it seems like every year at least one performer I'd never heard of or never really checked for does something incredibly dope. Having attended the past two years, I knew Cult Favorite and Cavalier were going to bring it. This year, We Are Not For Them, which is Warren Britt on the mic w/ A.M. Breakeups on production and DJ Jimmy da Gent on the wheels, really impressed me. Looking forward to hearing more from them.

If you mean mellow in the sense of lacking energy, definitely not. It's just a different kind of energy than the typical rap act's ra ra shit. He does sound exactly like he does on the record.

only info l seen is that he's trying to have the New aIbum available in mid July. l cant search right now but somewhere he Said something like, 'if everything goes right then l should be selling the new album in front of Fat Beats on July 17th.' I'm paraphrasing though, don't remember the exact quote.

Yeah, maybe for non-album tracks and that'll probably be the case for the Metal Clergy project but all of Grief Pedigree was done by Ka. I can't think of another album that was not only self-produced but where the artist also designed the cover and directed all the music videos.

i love this shit, it feels like progress for him. one of my favorite beats he made so far. makes me wonder if his next album is gonna progress from the last one the same way marci progressed from marcberg to reloaded

i meant more iin terms of moving from minimalism that still has a somewhat traditional feel to a sound that feels a bit more new/experimental and maybe more expansive in a way too, but if you want to apply that pattern to specifics it could work too
