if ur really wanna be thorough, the song with meyhem already leaked too. google is ur friend

my thoughts are that statik is a pretty boring producer, but bronson's talents will ensure at least a few solid bangers. i'm looking forward to whatever project he's doing with that Party Supplies guy more than this

Liking this song a lot, I'm not a huge Bronson fan though. His shit doesn't usually have a lot of replay value for me, but he's always a good listen on the first couple run thrus. He's one MC I'd like to hear with more features and guest appearances. He's versatile enough to rock with anyone and it was kinda disappointing to see the few features he has on this album (mostly with the same MC's as last time).

There isn't anything wrong with Statik, there just isn't anything specular either. These projects are equivalent to most 9th Wonder collabo efforts. You know what you're getting before you hit play.

I can't see how Action Bronson rapping over anything can be a bad thing.

I actually really liked the "Press Play" song Statik did with Bun-B, and Action's EP earlier this year made me a fan. Looking forward to this.

I agree with this. That being said, I think Action is the type of emcee that needs some straight-forward and solid (even if not out of this world) beats. You do know what you're getting before you listen, and in this case, I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing.

Statik Selektah is seriously one of the worst "producers" in the new millennium. Save for a few beats there is nothing at all that is distinctive or even interesting about his music.

Dante Ross with teh management fail.

nah statiks had a few nice beats here and there. besides that he's just a shitty (maybe mediocre) primo knockoff mixed with some other influences i guess

action bronson is the shit right now though.

I've only heard a few select songs, some i dug, others i was not impressed by his performance(nh).

Any recommendations on his best album/mixtape/project.

This is the best Statik beat I've heard.

I enjoyed Statik's releases with Freeway, Gibbs, and Bumpy Knuckles. This should be dope.

Yes you know what you're getting with Statik, but I think he does it well.
