i dunno. shit's fucked up now cause i feel like if these cats came out in the 90's, they wouldn't have had to make 6 albums worth of material on no budget and give it out for free just to get either a weak indie deal or shelved by a major.
who knows, if they would've came out in the 90s we may be talking about them in the same breath as the classic dudes we're comparing them to.
imagine if gibbs came out in 97/98 with organized noise production and a tight album.
if nas had to put out 5 mixtapes before illmatic, it probably would've kinda sucked.
