Do you think this album will be better than 6Kiss? Beatwise, I think "Rolls Royce" tops this track...not by much though.

Not sure. 6Kiss is dope to me, but not exactly a modern day classic. I'm stll only a fan of Lil B's most accessible stuff. Eccentricity is one thing if he's at least flowing. When his delivery is so completely off that it's amateurish, it ruins a track for me. I'm not so enamored with this guy that I can just ignore complete sloppiness and chalk it up to avante garde spontaneity. So it all depends on how accessible and proficient (doesn't have to sound like Black Thought, just convincingly like a professional rapper) the songs are. For me. I know there are scores who think otherwise.

I have to agree with your assessment on how B comes off (nh). To me, it's the fact that he's not afraid to he assert (for lack of a better word) himself whether or not that assertion is deemed reasonably stylistic or directly/indirectly "wack" (as some of the dinosaurs like to put it). I like his songs that have a variation from the likes of "Times Blue to "Cocaine" to "Wonton Soup". Still, I don't understand why some criticize his "style" to the point that they want him almost crucified as if he's responsible for the death of hip hop (if there's such a thing).

From a couple of tracks off Angels Exodus that I've heard, I might have to cop this.

No doubt and no offense taken. I've read the thread Driz...thats how I got the songs I listed. But again with dude's ridiculous output, I wanted to give some specific examples of what I am feeling and try to get some feedback on that specifically.

Dude's catalog is mad daunting to wade through...I just want the gems that will be to my liking.

Reread. Not only has your question been asked and answered, but at least three compilations approximating your taste have been posted.

Necessary or inflammatory?

Anyway, if someone has asked for recommendations regarding those specific songs I sincerely apologize, otherwise Image

I don't think lil b & of have the same audience. People @ philaflava, who are total backpackers listening to ehlzi & jay elec, are goin nuts about earl & tyler.
