Bro Ali winning in votes, but almost noone posting about it? Are his fans as modest as he is?

Went with Gibbs. Fashawn might change how I feel about that but I need to hear more...

Agreed.

Freddie Gibbs is the only one of the crop who has held my attention. The rest of the list pales, save Ali (no puno), who seems out of context, as hes a bit more established.

HustleCrowe voted for Brother Ali but won't admit to it because he's not 100% certain that he's white.

Can fans of Roc Marciano tell me what makes him stand out among other up-and-coming "real boom fap" NYC street MCs like Meyhem Lauren and Trife?

From what I've heard his lyrics are average, his voice is alright, and his flow puts me to sleep.

For one, he's not an "up and coming" emcee, he's been had real records(not mixtapes) out since the late 90's. Secondly, he's ill, the other guys that are decent here seem to be just the flavor of the month or year or whatever that people are voting for, aside from Bro Ali or Curren$y, I guess. But I'm not gonna talk out my ass cause I've only probably heard a few tracks from each one here, liked a few. I just think it's kinda dumb to even consider any of them to be in the same class as Marcy.

Whats with all this "his album is boring yo" bullshit lately? What do dudes around here need their assholes tickled while listening to rap CDs now? :pause: :pause: :pause:

If all you've heard is stuff off his new album, maybe go back and check his discography. I'm pretty sure most of it is in TROY somewhere.
