This Simpsons quote reminds me of you:

Just saying.

neither of you heard his solo stuff? like I said, I like him. wish he would try a bit harder.

Overall, he sounds like an addled Young Dro to me. Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

What was the other album he did - think it was just available through Sandbox... at least that's where I copped it. "Yung World" or something like that. Remember it wasn't great but had a couple of standouts on there...

couldn't be more on point. I remember initially liking Vast and thinking Vordul wasn't comparing but as time went on, the quick allure of Vast wore off and Vordul's lines really settled into my head. That combination really gave Can Ox their dynamic. Especially with El-P's production, which was something hip-hop had yet to hear at that point.

I wouldn't cross my fingers but would really be happy to hear a new Can Ox album with all of the three parties involved while they still have it. There's no label to really worry about El, reach out and get back in the basement.

I don't really want them. Sure it would be nice, but I doubt they will even hold a candle to the original. Having those 2 albums stand by themselves is apart of what makes it special as well..

You must be being sarcastic, but Beatles and Zeppelin? They have far better records than their debuts. If not, Revolver is my favorite Beatles album and they have many others better than their debut. As for Zeppelin, their whole discog is overrated, but II, IV, III, Physical Graffiti and Houses of the Holy are better or at least on the same level. If you are being sarcastic, it's not like The Beatles or Zeppelin split up, dropped records seperately that weren't on the level of their debut, had some beef, and than got back together and made some more classic albums..

Anyways, I guess saying special came off as kind of :bork: but with that being said, it doesn't have to be as good as their debut, but people will always compare it to that reagardless. I don't think El-P would put out something garbage (well, he did release Cage's last album on his label), but the Can Ox album with El-P will never happen.

Not a bad idea. I've edited a few things in the past.
And I know there was a complete album edited online minus someone,
I just can't remember who. Maybe someone should make a thread and put
all homemade edits there.
I wanna edit out Termanology from that track "Stop, Look Listen" with Q-
Tip and Styles P from 2007.

You guys are talking about him like he disappeared or fell off. Mega Graffiti dropped less than two years ago and it was sick, as is just about every guest appearance he does. I've always considered him way better than Vast.
