props is making it on a top 10. Simple acknowledgement is making it in an unnumbered list of 100.

Since word of this even came out the general response has been not much more than reserved inquisitiveness, such as "would a place like TROY make it on a list made by a place like XXL?" Most people have agreed from the start that it wouldn't (one of the reasons why folks were surprised to be at 20 on the Vibe list).

As for the actual list itself, it's a bad list. Entirely objectively, it's a bad list in an even worse format. I'd say the same shit if TROY was on it, as plenty of people who browse many of the places on there (assuming they're all regularly updated -- I doubt it) would also.

You think it's a good list, or just trying to be contrarian?
