It's a Cordish Group brainchild. There is, I believe, an incarnate of this exact type of entertainment plaza somewhere in Baltimore. At least Angel's Rockbar and a few others.

I was booked for a show at the P&L District 6 months ago, opening for a less hip-hop/much more famous act. Once the P&L found out I rapped, they clipped me from the show and terminated all contracts.
