its not really 'wack' but Pete Rock sounds out of place after Max B & Jim Jones on 'We Roll'

also:
Erick Sermon on any track with Redman & Keith Murray.

Cappa's verse on Winter Warz is sick, as is '97 Mentality'

When this song leaked way back in the day it did not have Bleek on it, it was gonna be on Jay's album but got switched at the last minute. I don't have it anymore, unfortunately, but it's out there sans Bleek.

I have told people countless times that it is absolutely the worst verse in the history of hip hop
it's up there with ll's verse on the "flava in your ear" remix.
that verse is amazingly funny.

it's ok to admit pete rock is a pretty shitty rapper overall, mediocre at best

Could never be the worst verse in hip hop history. It's just too brilliant from a comedic standpoint.

Max B & Jim Jones arent that great either though. Its not as if Pete was coming on after Royce and Jada or something (for example)

its more that it doesnt fit with the 2 verses before it that are more on the Dipset/Harlem hustler tip.
I have no idea why Pete thought he should rap on Shut Em Down or Down With The King either (2 of his best beats IMO)

I agree with Klondyke. Free was the only mutherfucker not doing the whole two-words schtick. Even Kanye managed that part.

My vote is for every El da Sensei verse on That's Them

I know, I've got the leaked version of "Is That Your Bitch" somewhere. So disappointed to hear the song later all sanitized and slapped with a Shitty Bleek verse.

Whoever said Freeway on Two Words loses.

Kanye West on Young Jeezy's Put On. I love that song, and I understand that he just wanted Kanye on there to get more people to listen to it.... but he doesn't produce it and his verse is fucking terrible. Sometimes his auto-tune shit sounds alright, but another Jeezy verse would have been much better.

"I feel like there's still ni**as that owe me cheques / I feel like there's still bitches that owe me sex"

Weak.
