I downloaded it but haven't listened yet. Drizzle says it's good though.

That Sean P verse has been recycled at least 8 times now.

Sean P has got to be the biggest guest spot whore of the past two years.

I'm three tracks in and it sounds pretty bad.

very amateurish. the mix sounds awkward, the beats are weak, tame could have probably gotten better beats from the sound lab here.

no matter how good a rapper is, I don't want to listen to him flow over a shit beat for 7 minutes with no choruses or change ups.

royce is another contender, both have been slinging average verses to myspace wannabes and netcees quite a lot

beats are terrible. just really bland/amateurish. It's too bad cuz I like Tame, he got that off the wall shit which I love but I aint listening to rappers who cant get decent beats. There's an unlimited amount of hot beats out there, no reason to but spittin over this garbage.

I'm not feeling a lot of the production and the album is kind of boring, a shame really.

worst part with albums is . . . IT IS THE ARTISTS CHOICE 90% of the time, on what beats they use, it's not like they record all their shit acapella without a beat, and let a label choose producers to use and beats to slide underneath.

So any flaws in the production are due to an artists ear. . . what we think may be crap, he may be thinking is crack.

I think the beats for "Catch Me" and "Night Cap" are fire. Some of the other beats are decent ,too, though they all sound too similar. If you're gonna have 1 producer do your whole album,he needs to be a little more versatile.
IMO Tame can get pretty boring and annoying on certain joints that he's obviously wetted up on. But he's still funny and creative with it.
And Sean P sounds like he's about to nod off on a bag of that D.
Not too bad of an album, but I think I'll remember it most for "Catch Me"

whatever happened to that petition for getting tame on def jux?

get el-p to exec produce, keep him sober and sharp, get some el-p, blockhead and aesop joints to rhyme over, pretty much the only thing that can save tame's career right now since that's pretty much the only crew he's affiliated with that has any kind of quality control with their releases.
