slug is a cool guy and i respect him (i've even seem him live twice...puts on a good show) however, el-p is a better artist. funcrusher plus was great. fantastic damage was something i wasn't all that into, but it was experimental in a good way, and that was cool. apparently i need to check out his new shit because people seem to really like it.
