I hate el-p's new album, but love Co-Flow and Fan Dam too much to even consider slug.
Though the George Parros look a like is still dope, though.

el-p takes this.
i'm surprised it's as close as it is.

on the label tip, we both did our thing.
on the fanbase tip, we both did our thing.

i tour more, but i don't know if that's a plus or a minus.

as far as rap, i respect the hell out of the topics he tackles.
all i've done is rap about rap, and made it ok for midwestern white kids to feel safe rapping about their alcohol abuse and dysfunctional relationships, which probably works against me in this poll.

he makes beats that have influenced a lot of people.
the beats i make are actually (elektra years) brand nubian instrumentals recorded onto a cassette.

so until i provide photos of me fucking employee in his chappy lonely mouth (wipe the twinkie cream off bitch), this should be an easy vote for y'all.

Not knocking El, because he does certain shit you don't do, but on a board where people are pulling out internet gats and full of machismo, I just can't let you act like you don't tackle very dope concepts with your raps, and have a great sense of song structure.

Not really sure if this is about who makes more epic, eventful music (El), or who makes better music period (Atmosphere.)

Good Slug is in front....I like all the Atmosphere albums enough to listen to them for more than a week or two.

El-P just pretty much sucks to me. I don't mind Funcrusher Plus and the new album is one of my favorite albums this year, but that don't make up for the last few years of his production sounding like a bunch of monkeys in a garbage can getting slammed with a baseball bat

slug because i enjoy almost the entire catalog since overcast! that i have and i have most of it.

sleep when youre dead is insanely good but i havent been exposed to the rest of his solo catalog. he added a real good bit to the cold vein and some of aesop rocks stuff though. i know that.

Thread is neck to neck as it should be.. Both get props from me..

Co Flow's first CD was a staple in my listening habits. Overcast was my favorite Slug product until the Felts... They've both been played in the ride hundreds of times..

I respect both hustles and that they both offered something different and have hammered at it as hard as they have...

Label wise RhymeSayers vs. Def Jux.. Another hard call.. @ power houses in my eyes.. Respect due to both.

El-p has the best video of all time though with deep space 9mm...

Still voted for the homie Sean. Truth is on another day I could vote El-P.. glad to see the votes are this close..
