Best/Favorite one verse track from this list
Again, as always, not necessarily the best one verse songs just the songs I felt like including randomly.

I voted "Jack Frost" just cause I pulled the vinyl out for this not too long ago and had forgotten how sick it was.
Peace to Rakim and Nas though.

I've got the vinyl for this too. It's the one with that freestyle where he says "KCUF Double L AY for all you backwards ass niggas" on the other side right? The ILLatino wrote:I voted "Jack Frost" just cause I pulled the vinyl out for this not too long ago and had forgotten how sick it was.
It's either this or Bird in Hand. Can't decide. Bird in Hand is excellent storytelling and political commentary, but Jack Frost is straight heat.

Ohword.com presents... The Making of Ras Kass's DemoParagraph President wrote:"Jack Frost", as dope as it is, sounds like it was recorded at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean with an etch-a-sketch.

The Rakim/Cube choice is impossible.
On one hand I know every single word to Paid in Full and it's probably the single best track on getting money written by an emcee...
but on the other hand Bird in the Hand justifies all subsequent crack rap by its dopeness. plus the beat is better. but not better than the Coldcut mix so...
voted Rakim. barely. and I half regret it. it's just that tough.

if this poll was for this years NBA Draft, then "Paid In Full" would be Greg Oden and "Bird In a Hand" would be Kevin Durant. Oden is the consensus #1 overall, but couldn't really blame a team for taking Durant instead.
i had to go with Cube, cuz he's my favorite rapper of alltime and that's my favorite song of his of alltime.
