I use one part rubbing alcohol and two parts water...best to filter the water with a britta filter though... works for me...but 78's? details please ok. what my friend wants to do is hook his turntable up through his stereo reciever, and into his laptop. the purpose of this is to record shit from vinyl. the problem is that when he pluged the rca audio cables from tape record out, he got low signal and could barely hear the record...

I like the M44G stylus for sampling. I use the 447's for live shows and such, but honestly, I think they sound like shit. And they can wear down your grooves too.
