Man, the beat is bananas. I also have the same acapella version but never found the one with the chorus.

The remix is ok. The moods are um , different though. God I'm lovin the drums and the complexity of the production. Great work. I hear J-Live all over this. Peace.

odb remix - i'm not one to really hate on beats without much of changeup but this one is sort of repetitive and can't stand by itself. i like the samples, love the horns and the remix works. just needs somethin else. jujubes - mad smooth. you remind me of a butcher named DJ Premiere. the chops are s...

diggin the main melody but i'm sucker for 88 keys. this definetely sounds different from a typical hip-hop beat but i can imagine a lot of different mainstream rappers on it. drums are gritty and great. great work.

no laughing matter - :ohsh: changeup. world renown - damn man. you are good. the harmonica, the vocal sample, the BASS. the bass and drums alone can carry this track. but the other elements actually add something nice to it. one of my favorite beats on this board ever. word is bond - great melody. i...

mael - i recognize the sample but i don't know what it is. so you flipped it ok i guess. this is good i likes. the mix is a little muddy or is that the encoding? like a killer whale - well executed. my head isn't automatically nodding which is my way of gauging if i like something. like i said, well...

that's right - intro has me OPEN. loving this smooth bullshit. great touch on the synth. if i made this, i'd at some point just drop everything but the drums for like 2 bars and then BOW, bring it back. great work. the natural - great progression. great changeups. i can groove to this all day like i...

:ohsh:

unreal. professional sound. all instruments fall nicely.

changeup is ok but it sounds too choppy. melody is weird.

drums are nice and crisp.

i enjoyed listening to this.

Happy Thanksgiving Update

http://www.zebox.com/operator Truth - straightforward, but i think it holds its own the whole way through. Russian Winter - somehow I stumbled onto the "underground" sound here. reminds me of Can Ox. changeup is, umm, unexpected. Dark Tales - i'd like to hear a story over this one. thanks in advance.

i liked Call of the Wild mainly cause of the drums. the samples were cool and so were the melodies. probably good for the right emcee to lace.

Shakers isn't bad actually. the more I listen the more it grows on me. repetitive but not annoying.

Re: 3 New Joints.

Comprehension - snare sounds too grimey for this beat? i love that instrument you bring in at 0:59 (saxamaphone?). minimalistic compared to your other work but like you said: spacious and ready for rocking. Definite Article - i like this better than Comprehension. the initial melody with the horn is...

feel the need - good beat. not sure who i could hear over it though. crusin through - i usually try not to hate on anyone's shit, but i can't listen to that. as a kite - i like the "sound" of the vocal sample, but the pianos sound fake. like an imatation piano. not a bad beat though. i could hear s...

children - the drums are cool but do they fit the guitar sample at all? the hats that come in at first definetely sound way off beat with it. i agree with the comment about buildup but no release. oooh, i like the change around 3:20. mistake rewind - not feeling this. melody is lacking a little bit....

break the silence - my least favourite. it's aight...the synths and the way u chopped the sample gets annoying. slow movement - i love this. everything sounds like it is where it should be (well i take that back, the ole lady crooning i could do without). nice synth. drums snap on point. well done....

strap-up: first off this sounds like a cool remix. the moods fit nicely and compliment well. i like the beat and the transitions are dope. the voice sync is a little off after a while and the beeps overwhelm the track instead of just adding to it (mix ain't right). good stuff besides that. gotta mai...
